Amy Purcell’s three loves are writing, running and reading. She especially enjoys literary fiction, magic realism, genre-blenders, stories about relationships and anything that combines heartbreak and humor. Her short stories have been published in Passages North, Triquarterly, The Masters Review, and Third Coast Magazine, among others. She has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and an MFA in Creative Writing. She is also a graduate of BookEnds, a non-credit intensive novel writing program. Her literary agent is Maria Vicente at P.S. Literary Agency. Each year, Purcell reviews and posts her Top 10 reads. The list now has hundreds of followers.
